First, one thing important to say : Llumbi is one of our really favourite places, one of these hidden places that give Ibiza all its charm.
Once said, Llumbi isn’t one of these trendy places, there is no DJ, no particular concept, the decoration is absolutely simple but each time, the charm operates on you. First, the exceptional situation: Llumbi is in a small traditional and charming village of Es Cubells, close to one of these lovelies white churches typical of Ibiza. The place is quiet and the terrace of the restaurant overviewing extraordinarily the sea. From your table, it’s a 180° panorama on the Mediterranean Sea and the beaches all around that is offered to you. Here is the décor.
With such a great situation, the restaurant could just bargain on its view and not propose great food. But it’s exactly the opposite: the two brothers and their cousin that manage this restaurant propose a food that fits with the décor, authentic, generous and really tasty. At the local meals menu, basics of the island (Gambas, Calamars, Chuletas de Cerdo, Escalivada…) prepared with care and very fresh products. The plates are very generous, the vegetables are bio and come from the field of the neighbour, the fish has just been fished for you, the French fries and the desserts are all house made. Not forgetting the aioli, which has the reputation of being one of the best of the island.
If you had a great service, familiar and very nice, with sweet prices (more or less 30€/person), you will certainly understand why Llumbi is really one of our favourite places. If you come there with children, the square of the church is just at a few meters from the restaurant and you can see it from the terrace. Perfect for parents that will be allowed to take their time having lunch or dinner while their kids will be playing.
