It’s not at all a discovery but a cannot be got round : each Saturday morning in Ibiza, the Hippodrome Sant Jordi flea market is an unmissable event for the bargain hunters and collectors, curious, hippies, hipsters, penniless or families that are looking for a cool atmosphere.

Created in 1995, the first flea market of Ibiza has quickly become a place to be for the ibicencos and the tourists. In a cool ambiance, you can have a walk from stand to stand to seek objects more or less improbable, second-hand clothes, original creations, jewels, handicraft… Going from one collection of vinyls of the 70’s to a second-hand bicycle, Moroccan furnitures or a toolbox, a coat in leather, books, toys…

If good deals come and go, the walk is worth to be done and the ambiance is always there. The market of Sant Jordi is also a place to be in Ibiza for its mixing of surprising and delicious styles and looks. Certainly one of the most open minded and cosmopolite places on the Island. The alleyways, the bar and the sunny terrace of the hippodrome allow you to discuss and have a coffee, a beer or a tasty sandwich prepared by Ramonet y Vicente.

To sum up, you will have understood that we highly recommend you to discover this flea market that symbolizes the freedom of mind and the eccentricity of the island. Very close from the city of Ibiza, the market is open every Saturday from 9AM to 3PM, and the parking is free.
